"My Dear Bomb," a collection of works by Yohji Yamamoto, a leading Japanese fashion designer.
Yohji Yamamoto, along with Comme des Garçons and Issey Miyake, is one of the greatest contributors to elevating Japanese fashion brands to a world-class level.
After graduating from Keio University, he studied fashion at Bunka Fashion College. In 1981, he presented an innovative collection at Paris Fashion Week, featuring black clothing, which was taboo in the fashion world at the time, and made his name known worldwide.
He is still active at the forefront of fashion while expanding his brand.
This book is the first autobiography published after the company fell into a management crisis in 2011 and the new Yohji Yamamoto started under a new sponsor.
It begins with an exchange of letters with the dear Wim Wenders, and reveals the unknown side of him as a man and a creator.
