This is a gorgeous voluptuous design high quality Alligator skin handbag. Very Rare! 1940s - 50s. Signed by Susan of Chicago. This bag is in excellent vintage condition! Clean! No damage or stains. The interior is high grain leather in a beautiful blush color. Solid brass flip-top closure. The handle is in beautiful condition. Due to post-war leather shortages she innovatively crafted the handle from high quality bamboo. A material that is both lightweight and durable. Very similar to the iconic Gucci brand "Bamboo Bag" created in 1947' An excellent deal! As the Gucci bag sells for $500-$2000 depending on condition. This is a quality handbag!
