This bookmark was bought at an antique store 35 years ago in West Virginia. It is supposed to be from the 1800's by the carvings and style. Beautiful dragon in the bookmark and intricately carved ivory beads along with an ivory carved and painted cat charm. Two large tassels on one end show some fraying from age but is in remarkable shape from this time period. Very unique. You will not find another like it.
