Rare Item: MONTBLANC Hammer Trigger Ballpoint Pen 380
The Montblanc 380 was a ballpoint pen manufactured and sold from the 1970s.
In the early days of ballpoint pens, it adopted a hammer trigger mechanism, designed so that the pen tip would automatically retract when placed in a chest pocket, even if the tip was left extended.
The flat-top white star design is a precursor to later generations and the Pix series, with an unobtrusive design.
The color is a dark green, which blends better than black.
