The Blue Berry Eyebright™ tablets contain blueberry, tagetes flower standardised to contain 10 mg lutein per daily dose, and eyebright. Lutein is a carotenoid naturally found in the macula of the eye - the part of the eye responsible for central vision.
BLUEBERRY (Vaccinium myrtillus L.)
Vaccinium myrtillus is a special species of blueberries growing in North Europe and is one of the commonest wild plants in Sweden. The fine blueberry extract in this tablet has been derived from wild growing blueberries, which are smaller than cultivated blueberry species and appreciated for their intense color and nutrient content.
EYEBRIGHT (Euphrasia officinalis L.)
Eyebright is a 5-40cm high annual plant with opposite serrated leaves, white or lilac flowers with darker strobes and a yellow spot. In this tablet a high quality extract is used.
MARIGOLD (Tagetes erecta L.)
Marigold is a plant with fresh green leafage and flowers looking like carnations. The colors variate from light yellow to orange. It is the flower petals of marigold, which are used in Blue Berry, as it is from the petals that lutein is extracted.
