This appears to be a catalog for a special exhibition commemorating the 150th anniversary of the death of Kikukawa Eizan (1787-1867), a Ukiyo-e artist from the late Edo period.
Kikukawa Eizan specialized in bijin-ga (pictures of beautiful women). After the death of Kitagawa Utamaro, he established his own delicate and graceful depictions of women, leading the world of bijin-ga.
This special exhibition was held in 2017 at the Ota Memorial Museum of Art and other venues.
The exhibition showcased approximately 200 prints and paintings, including works that were shown for the first time and representative pieces.
