Easy to Build Stormcast Eternals Celestar Ballista

The Sacristan Engineers of the Sacrosanct Chambers originate from the Ordinatus Conclave, sometimes referred to as the Conclave of the Thunderbolt due to their devastating impact on the battlefield. These warrior-engineers command the chambers’ magical field artillery. When a Celestar Ballista is deployed to defend a sacred site, approaching too closely can result in explosive death. Their rune-inscribed projectiles are filled with coils of stray lightning drawn down from the Azyr, launched as streaks of blue-white energy at the foe. A direct hit can blast through targets, triggering a chain explosion of arcane force.

This kit assembles a Celestar Ballista crewed by two Stormcast Eternals Sacristan Engineers. Designed for ease of assembly, it is push-fit with no glue required and comes in pre-colored gold plastic.

The Celestar Ballista is a robust launcher mounted on a tripod, resembling a large armored crossbow. It features four front barrels for launching runed bolts adorned with lion motifs and inscriptions. The loading mechanisms are visible from above, with cartridges used to safely load and fire the volatile energy-filled bolts. The Sacristan Engineers, one helmeted and one unhelmeted, bear sigmarite blades alongside measuring tools, compasses, and cartridges used for calibration and operation. Both are adorned with Sacrosanct Chamber iconography. The base includes additional details such as an ammunition box filled with cartridges and another with spare instruments.

This kit consists of 17 components and includes a Stormcast Eternals transfer sheet, one Citadel 60mm Round base, and two Citadel 40mm Round bases.
