HERE IS A VINTAGE SIGNED "JUDY OF CALIF USA 1977 CS-1" COFFEE HOUSE COOKIE JAR / CANISTER STANDING 11" TALL X 6 3/4" ACROSS X 5 1/4" DEEP. A SIMPLY WONDERFUL PIECE OF CALIFORNIA ART POTTERY CIRCA 1977, VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND THIS COOKIE JAR THAT HAS GORGEOUS RAISED RELIEF HAND PAINTED ORANGE AND YELLOW FLOWERS IN FRONT OF STONE WALL AND ORANGE WINDOWS AND DOOR. THE ROOF IS DONE IN A DULLED MATTE GLAZE OF BURNT ORANGE OR DARK BURNT BRICK. ROOF HAS NICE HANDCRAFTED DORMERS AND SHINGLES. VERY HEAVY PIECE WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS, IT DOES HAVE SOME LIGHT GLAZE CRAZING IN SOME AREAS, THE BACK SIDE OF CHIMNEY HAS A UNDER GLAZE SMALL FLAKE INDIGENOUS TO THE POTTERY. CLEAN AND NEVER USED EXCEPT FOR DISPLAY
