This is one of several beautiful jewelry items that belonged to my mother. I have had them simply sitting in a box in a closet but I now believe it is better that they be worn and appreciated by someone who will love them. She had exquisite taste in jewelry and just in general.
This is a beautiful vintage deep purple amethyst and 14K gold graduated beaded necklace.
There are 54 ndividual amethyst beads ranging in size from 8mm to 13mm. There are 53 gold accent beads in 14K gold and a 14K gold fish hook clasp.
It is 32" long an weighs 3 ounces so feels nice and heavy. Absolutely beautiful piece of jewelry.
